The 12th edition of The Octane User Group Meet was hosted in Delhi at the Hilton Garden Inn in Saket. An exclusive, invite only event, the meet featured great informative talks by our speakers, interactive Q&A sessions and an open networking session for all our delegates.

TOPICS:
Keeping in line with our evolved format for TOUG, this time, we once again had two topics covering the meet. They were as follows:

First Session:

apurva-chamaria-19-jun-2013 It was our great pleasure to have Mr. Apurva Chamaria (Head-Global Sales Excellence at HCL Technologies) as the guest speaker for the first session of this TOUG meet in Delhi. He presented a very interactive session on the topic ‘Digital evolution in B2B/B2C Marketing’.

Apurva has had a long and experienced career spanning large companies and across countries. Prior to his current role he was a Sales Director for Healthcare at HCL America, Inc. responsible for managing the multi-year, multi-country, multi-million relationship between HCL and the largest pharmaceutical company in the world. Apurva has also been the Global Head of Marketing and Strategy for Enterprise Applications (SAP, Oracle and Microsoft) and Enterprise Transformation (ECMP, I V & VS, Mainframe and Mid-range, Business Intelligence, IT Consulting) business at HCL leading a geographically distributed team of marketing managers.

He’s also a frequent speaker at industry conferences and premier B-School events like Sales Performance Management 2012 and annual conclaves of B-Schools like FMS, IIMC, IMI, MICA.


Second Session:

jatin-modi-19-jun-2013 It was also very exciting to have Mr. Jatin Modi (Founder – Frog Ideas), join us as the guest speaker for the second session of this The Octane User Group meet in Delhi. He presented his session on the topic, ‘Marketing via Social Media: Understanding & Leveraging the Channel Better’.

Jatin is an entrepreneur with in-depth experience in starting and growing young organisations. He also has deep practical experience in developing high level marketing and brand strategy for online and offline operations. Jatin was previously the founder at MadeinHealth.com (which was sold to Healthkart.com) and till recently he was heading Yebhi.com’s Strategy and Marketing initiatives.

Jatin is a guest lecturer at S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research in Mumbai and recently conducted a live Octane webinar on the topic of Inbound Marketing.
