The 16th edition of The Octane User Group Meet was held in Bengaluru at the Royal Orchid Hotel. It was the second such meet in the city and featured newer discussions, speakers, interactive Q&A sessions and an open networking session for all our delegates.

First Session:

khizer-ahmed-sheriff-20-nov-2013 It was our pleasure to have Mr. Khizer Ahmed Sheriff (Founder – Socio360) as the guest speaker for the first session of this TOUG meet in Bengaluru.

Khizer brought to this meet his unique views, insights and experience on Entrepreneurship, Blogging, Social Media Marketing, Business Development and E-commerce. He is currently leading three organisations (Startupise, Socio360 and Aspirae) that work across India and the UAE. He devotes a majority of his time to Socio360, which works as an online digital agency for global brands like Nissan, Renault and Accor Hotels.

In this session Khizer covered the topic ‘Effective Strategies in Social Media Marketing’.


Second Session:

samarth-saxena-20-nov-2013 The second session was presented by our very own Co-Founder and COO, Mr. Samarth Saxena, who discussed the exciting and innovative new features recently developed and launched by Octane. Sam covered the new Geo-Locator tool, the Manage Segments tool, the Triggers tool and the expanded Social Media Integration feature. As Chief Operating Officer of Octane, Sam leads engineering, finance, human resources, technology and is responsible for the business operations and profitability of the company.
