The large e-commerce companies in India report between 15-25% of the monthly revenues consistently through their email marketing programs. While the average return on email marketing investment for the majority of mid-large ecommerce companies in India is between 5-10%, what distinguishes the larger players is the sophistication and maturity of both the email marketing platform and the CRM processes around it. This clearly shows that Email as a Digital 1:1 channel has seen tremendous success in terms of conversion rates and Marketing ROI.
